upd.занятный такой фильм о пареньке, который слишком наивно верил в политического лидера, а все остальные при этом полагали, что он просто целуют тому задницу. закончилось вполне логично. на самом деле, не очень люблю такие фильмы, когда знаешь, что в конце гг придет пипец, но не знаешь, какой и в какой именно момент.
из всего запомнилось только почему-то, что он не кричал. в конце. назло. хм, ну, молодец.

tumblr is extremely captainous (опа, окказионализм) today. -.- but yet again I can't disagree with it. well, actually I'm not so afraid of dying, it must mean something, mustn't it? perhaps, The Last King of Scotland is worth watching after all. oh, well, another McAvoy movie, what else have I been downloading recently lately*? *facepalm*

* 'lately', 'recently', and 'of late' all mean essentially the same thing.
The difference is in register. 'lately' is the most commonly used. 'recently' is much used, and only slightly more formal. 'of late' is hardly ever used. To me it seems very formal and old-fashioned. In an everyday conversation, the speaker who uses 'of late' might be considered pretentious by his conversation partners.
